To prevent mineral deposits and halos on the mold surface, always wash molds with demineralized or reverse osmosis water.
Keep the washing water temperature below 55°C (131°F) to avoid accelerating the hydrolytic degradation of polycarbonate material.
Utilize mild, non-abrasive detergents specifically formulated for polycarbonate molds. Avoid alkaline or aggressive cleaning agents that can damage the mold surface.
Do not use rough cloths, sponges, or abrasive materials to remove chocolate residues, as they can scratch and dull the mold surface.
After washing, ensure molds are completely dry before storage. Use a soft, lint-free cloth for drying, and store molds in closed boxes on flat surfaces, away from direct light and heat sources.
